# Multichain Support

Initially, XRC will enable users to mint XRC-20 tokens on OKT Chain mainnet with plans to expand into a permissionless platform in Q1 2024. This will allow trading & minting of inscriptions on multiple supported blockchains & protocols. 

XRC will evolve into a comprehensive Inscription and NFT marketplace, integrating and indexing multiple networks. 

## Future XRC Market Functionality

Future capabilities will allow users an efficient method to mint, manage and trade tokens (Launching Q1 2024). 

Providing a seamless way to deploy an XRC-20 token using the 'deploy' function. In turn generating a specific quantity of XRC-20 tokens with the 'mint' function, and transferring a certain number of XRC-20 tokens through the 'transfer' function.
